Wednesday - I Don't Understand Repitition Assignments!

  We had our first quiz and it was nothing like I had expected it to be, it was a lot more simplistic and I believe I did well on it. Today when I woke up I felt so much fatigue in my body, my head was nodding simultaneously and I felt like I almost collided with my cereal bowl. However, when I got that quiz today I felt like I drank an energy drink and the fatigue in my body was obliterated. Now for the assignments, I have finished all 13 selection assignments, nevertheless, when I viewed the repetition assignments I felt like I knew nothing. The confusion started when I read the second question! Tomorrow I will consult the matter with Mr. Arkin, I am sure he will have an answer.

Tuesday- Finished all Selection Assignments!

  The time that was consumed due to all these assignments was unimaginable. Nevertheless, I feel amazing, knowing that I am one step ahead, it is an indescribable feeling. It makes me feel like the real me has reemerged. My thumb is also recuperating properly and I believe with a few more days of rest my thumb will be back to its normal state and physical ability. 

Monday- Never Knew the Thumb was so Important

  My thumb is in pain and I don't like it, I tried doing the things I normally do with my left hand and I couldn't. My typing has also decreased in speed and now I have to use up more of my time on the computer. I have never really been a fan of electronics, I am more of an outdoor person. However, when I do an assignment on the computer and I see that it has been successful I want to carry on experimenting. I also have to go to the airport, because my grandmother is going back to Iran. I hope my thumb is healed by the end of this weak. 

Friday- It's my Birthday and I Broke my Thumb

  Today was suppose to be a good day for me, however due to a basketball game I broke or determinedly fractured my thumb. What am I going to do? I had many things planned for today, I would first go to my basketball practice, then to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Now I can't do any of them, I feel so depressed.... NOT! Nevertheless, I feel fat because I have had no physical exercise today. I hope my thumb will heal by Monday because of two reasons, first I have school and second I have a basketball game on that day! 

Thursday- Turing is Pretty Neat

  Today I found out that Turing really is a very interesting program. When ever I accomplish something on Turing I feel so happy that I'm not making a mistake. I finished all the input assignments and I'm ready for tomorrow's class. Tomorrow when I get home I will start the other assignments in pursuit to finish them all by Monday, at most. Turing also reminds of a calculator, a high tech calculator that runs like a computer. However, some of the tasks it is designed to do make it far different from a calculator. Like for example, one cannot make sentences appear due to the input section with a calculator. 

Wednesday- Got the Assignment Back

  Wow, I never thought I would have that many mistakes in my website! However I did get higher than the class average, even though I was expecting higher. Nonetheless, at the same time I did not know that my grammar and spelling could have so atrocious! I did a ignorant move and I did not run it through spell check. This taught me a lesson and that was never to rush or be hesitant on something. The main reason I was hesitant was because of Microsoft Word. The first time I typed out my assignment I had typed it on Word, then I realized that Word has invisible characters that the validation program will not allow. This project expanded my view of computer science and now I look forward to our next project, so I may boost up my mark, for my report card.

Tuesday- Never Knew I Could be so American

   I got to sleep in for, four days in a row! I feel amazing sleeping in really does pay off. Today I was paying a lot more attention and I had a huge breakfast.. I love sleeping, especially when I am exhausted. It is as if though when I sleep I am transported into a different universe. That universe to me is my personal heaven which cannot be disrupted by anything but, those annoying alarm clocks. Every morning that annoying buzz drives me nuts! I just feel like breaking it into millions of pieces! Oh well it pays off and gets me up for school. Today also kept spelling kilometres wrong, it made me feel so American, well at least now I can spell kilometre.

Monday- Yes it's a Late Day

 I can't wait for tomorrow, because it is a late day! I get to sleep in again which I love to do! It intrigues me when I notice who much sleep can influence my day. Therefore, I believe school should start at 10am and go to 4:30 pm. I would rather stay till 4:30 then go to school at 8:30. Well that is my opinion which will not have much of an influence on the TDSB. Now if there were more students that agreed, than that would be a different matter all together. Great idea, time for the evil of Kevin to rise!

Friday- I Feel Like Jumping

  Yes, it is finally Friday and its by basketball day. I adore the weekend, it is as if though an enormous weight has been taken off my shoulders. There are so many advantages to a Friday, however some disadvantages as well. Some advantages are, there is no school the next day, sleeping and waking up is no longer a timed factor and Friday is a sports day for me. Some disadvantages are, by the end of today I will feel exhausted and worst of all I need to take a shower, however have no energy to do so. Friday is a great day and I'm looking forward to the Fridays to come.

Thursday- OH NO the Dentist!

  Today was not one of my memorable days, it was more like one of those days that I wasn't really looking forward to. This is all because of the evil dentist, now I'm not saying my dentist is mean or evil, I'm just saying that the dentist in a general view for me is a wretched place. Every time I come out of those heavy doors I feel my teeth throbbing and my jaws aching. In addition, due to my present circumstance every time I go to the dentist I get my braces either tightened or broadened. I hope this tooth ache will go away soon or else I will have to solemnly moan in pain with no where to run or hide.

Wednesday- Making Patterns on Turing

  Todays assignment was the construction of basic patterns on Turing. Today we learned how to indent in Turing therefore allowing us to make cool patterns. I thought Turing was only able to program computers, however now  I know that there are many functions in Turing that I have not yet discovered. I never thought programming could be so cool and interesting.

Tuesday- More About Turing

  I actual enjoy using Turing, I have just found this out. It is amazing what some people can do. This Turing program really makes someone wonder what is humanity's limit, or is there even a limit to what man can do. It is mind blowing and something that really cause's people to look back and think of all the creations that have been made to get them to where they are. For example the computer, the computer is a mezmerizing object, used for many porpuses. Now people these days take the computer for granted, as if though it is extremly low tech. Nonetheless if one thinks about how hard it must've been on the scientists whom invented the computer.

Friday- PARTY TIME! (More Like Running Time)

  Today was a spectacular day, there was no homework, no information to be noted down on paper or in my head. It was one of the greatest school days I have had in my one month of school. I never thought computer science could be so much fun. Right now I feel bloted because of all the food I wolfed down in the party. There was so much food and so many different kinds aswell. However, now I have to go burn it off by running a few KILOMETERS! Oh my god I should have eaten less!

Thursday- Turing is .........

  Today was filled with all sorts of information that I never thought existed. I still don't know how to use Turing though but I hope through time that I may be able to use Turing and on to more advanced programming. My impression on computer science was that the only thing we would be accomplishing would be website making and that of the most basic websites. However, now I realize computer science is more than just that. I now know that their is numerous types programs and software that are related to website making. I also learned that the program Turing was named after the "father of computer science" Alan Turing.

Wednesday- First Time Blogging in Class

  This is the first time I have ever done my blog in class. It is actually a good idea because, rather than doing this blog for homework I can do it now. This day so far has not been as amused as I wanted it to. The only thing that was fun was decoding the binary codes. I kind of enjoyed successfully decoding the message in Mr.Arkin's blog. Tuesday- Finished the Glossary

  Finally, I finished the basic computer glossary. Now the exciting  part is that my HTML is actually looking pretty descent. I hope by the end of the semester I have enough knowledge to make a fully functional and professional website. My father is now asking me to make him a website for his company. I am trying to avoid that because, I'm afraid I might screw up and that I can not make a professional website yet. However, I am looking forward to the day that my father tells me to make a website for him and I tell him, sure when and how do you want it to look like.

Monday- My Brain Didn`t Function so Well Today

  The weekend seemed so short but enriched with fun and enjoyment. Nevertheless, today I woke up and just wanted to go back to sleep. It was like I hadn`t slept in ages. I never thought after all this time, it would still be hard to wake up for school. I guess my body was warn out from all that basketball. The reason I play so much is that, by the end of the grade I want to legitly dunk with only one hand. The saying practice makes perfect is just starting to make sence to me.

Friday- Got an Elbow to the Face

  My team one both games yesterday but, with the price of my nose getting smashed by another one of the player`s elbows. I scored 23 points in total of both games and we left there being victorious, however today, I have a practice and thankfully have finished all my homework. My mother says if my homework isn`t finished then I can`t go to anything sport or fun related.

Thursday- I Feel so ALIVE!

  Today is the day for me to shine, I don`t have a head ache any more and I have back to back games today, against, SBA and Brampton. I want to run, but past expierence has shown me not to run if you have had rescent head aches. I think my dad is calling me to tell me its time to go. I hope I win and get a medal or something atleast.

Wednesday- I Thought the Head Ache was Gone.....

  I am such a fool. I thought that my head ache was over and done with, therefore today I went out to run a little and get ready for my OBA game, however all of a sudden a sudden pain hit my head, like a pin was stuck into the very to most surface of my head. I missed a basketball game, which later that day made me so angry, that I felt like screaming my lungs out. Thinking of my friends playing while I'm bond to staying at home eating nothing but soup all day.

Tuesday-This Head Ache Won't go Away!

  This head ache is really getting on my nerves. Every pulse in my head feels like another trip to hell. The excruciating pain has taken away all the energy in my body and now the things I want to do, like run, play sports and finish up things that need finishing up, I can't do! It makes me so frustrated sometimes, I get angry a lot more easily and on some occasions I feel like punching a wall. I never thought a head ache would be so painful.....
